Aircond Gas Top-Up in Petaling Jaya
If your aircond is blowing weak cool air or has stopped cooling completely, the most common culprit is low refrigerant. We supply standalone gas top-ups in R22, R410A and R32 - the three common refrigerants in Malaysian residential systems.
Every top-up includes a pressure test to check for leaks, because pumping gas into a leaking system is just throwing money away. If we detect a leak, we’ll flag it and quote the repair separately before proceeding - you decide how to proceed.
Important: Gas top-ups are completely FREE (up to 10kg) when bundled with our chemical wash service. If you’re due for a chemical wash, book that instead of a standalone top-up and save the RM80-250 gas fee.
Which Refrigerant Does Your Unit Use?
- R22 - Older units (pre-2015). Being phased out globally but still available. More expensive per kg.
- R410A - 2010-2018 inverter and non-inverter models. Still widely stocked.
- R32 - Current standard for new units (2018+). Lower global warming potential, more efficient.

Pressure Testing Before Top-Up
Here’s the honest truth: gas doesn’t “run out” in a healthy aircond. Refrigerant circulates in a sealed system. If your unit is low on gas, there’s a leak somewhere - and that leak needs to be found, not ignored.
Our gas top-up service always includes a full pressure test of the refrigerant lines:
- Gauge attachment - Connect manifold gauges to service ports
- Pressure reading - Compare current pressure to manufacturer spec
- Leak detection - Bubble test or electronic sniffer on suspected areas
- Minor leak repair - Soldering of small pinhole leaks where possible
- Vacuum pump - Evacuate the system before recharging
- Gas charge - Add refrigerant to spec with precision scale
